The Wave Apartments

The Wave Apartments :)

The curvy shape of the Wave Apartments in Vejle, Denmark makes me want to go on a thrilling roller coaster ride. Designed by Henning Larsen Architects, the structure was inspired by the characteristics of the area: the fjord, bridge, town, and hills.

The building includes 140 modern apartments, all with wonderful views of the promenade and the bay. During the day, the white curves are reflected in the sea. At night, the building is lit up to look like multi-colored mountains.

Relaxed Computer Mouse

Pearl Mouse Prevents Hand Fatigue During Extended Work Sessions :)

Thanks to square and non-ergonomic mouse designs, Computer Mouse Hand Fatigue (CMHF) is fast becoming a common problem among computer professionals who have to work nonstop on their PCs during extended work sessions. Addressing the issue, British designer Lee Gicas has created an ergonomic mouse dubbed the Pearl that lets the users flex, extend and relax their hand and arm muscles even when using the mouse for longer durations. Designed to pivot left, right, back and forth with little effort, the Pearl mouse allows an easy and safe way of web navigation without squeezing the Median Nerve.

LED Buckle Concept Watch

LED Buckle Concept Watch :)

A timepiece is just a mechanical device to keep a tab on the hours, minutes and seconds passing by. By taking it beyond the monotonous perfunctory role to the realm of seductive jewelry, Devindh, a designer from the UK, has tried lending it a tastefully elegant twist. Inspired by the Tokyoflash Waku range and Apples integration of LEDs into their products, he has crafted a buckle style concept watch. The watch has hour indicators micro drilled to form a central focus of the watch, whereas the outer rim divides the minutes into two sets of 30 visible through pierced slots. The minutes are etched onto the casing.
